This pivotal role entails day-to-day management of the Finance function, driving all finance activities across our group of companies. This role will suit a seasoned financial professional who excels as a team manager, possesses strong relationship building skills and understands the importance of guiding people on the journey to success.Your responsibilities include:Managing statutory, financial, and consolidated P&L reporting, providing accurate and timely commercial insightsLeading annual audit, taxation, and external reporting tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Overseeing cash flow, banking, borrowing arrangements, and treasury controls for the group.Identifying opportunities for process improvement through streamlining and automation.Conducting analysis and modelling for key business partners to support decision-making.Coaching, managing, and developing the Finance team (5 people) to foster growth and excellence.Preparing rolling financial forecasts and annual budgets – ensuring they align with the business’ strategic aims.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders - including the CEO, Directors and finance business partnering with Business Heads, and managing key external stakeholders (auditors, advisors, insurers, bankers)About YouThis pivotal role will suit commercially-minded financial professional with a background that can demonstrate technical expertise, strong leadership and a commitment to excellence in financial management.You will demonstrate:CPA/CA qualifications with 10+ years accounting experience, preferably Big 4 Tax/ Audit exposure.Commercial experience with exposure to financial management of a large, complex group of multi-national companies.Strong working knowledge of financial regulations, taxation and accounting principles in Australia, NZ.
