This position is great for someone who is passionate about quality products and can lead a team. This is a bar job that you’ll rarely finish after midnight and enjoy a knock-off with the team afterwards.You'll be responsible for Creating a custom cocktail menu in consultation with the Chefs, and inspired by Asian and local ingredientsOrdering, stock control and movementDaily hands-on bar management during serviceChecking in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with meals and service Organising training and workshops with suppliers, and training the front-of-house team on beverage offerings and conducting beverage and food matching tastings Ensuring the bar facilities are clean, functional and comply with health regulationsYour qualifications, experience and skills3+ years' previous bar management experience , ideally gained in a fast-paced busy restaurantCocktail, beer, spirits and wine knowledge - with ability to create an entire drinks list (wines not included)Excellent customer service skills, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experiencePrevious cost management experience Great organisational skillsPrevious supervisory experience to foster team growth Current RSA is essential WSET training and qualifications is a bonus What we will offer youAn exciting and vibrant work environment in the heart of Melbourne's CBDSalary range $70k-$75k plus share of tipsSunday & Monday offCareer development opportunities and paid training.
