The roleWe are seeking a highly professional and outgoing Sous Chef to assist with delivery of our Fresh concept within our two exceptional locations in Sydney’s CBD.You will work closely within a small team responsible for delivering outstanding catering for our delegates and clients, from 10 to 700 guests. You’ll prepare and present primarily buffet style offerings that stimulate and excite our attendees and maintain our catering levels to the consistently market-leading standard of our venues.Working closely with our Head Chef, you will write menus and redefine corporate catering within Sydney. With opportunities to contribute ideas and collaborate with other chefs across our venues globally, you will grow your skills and develop your career in this high-end corporate environment.This role is predominantly business hours, Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend or evening functions are required.The ideal candidate will:Be a qualified Chef with Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalentHave previous experience in a similar role - delivering catering in a corporate environmentHave the desire to produce quality food and take genuine pride in their workBe able to assist with menu developmentPossess a genuine passion for the industry and have a keen eye for detailBe a team player, but also able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environmentBe friendly, outgoing and have exceptional customer service skills – some interaction with patrons is requiredHave excellent knowledge of food hygiene standards and appropriate Food Safety Supervisor certification for NSWAbout the TeamWe work hard, but have fun along the way.
