A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a solutions-focussed sales professional to join our Canberra Sales team.As a Senior Account & Business Development Manager, you will use your customer centric sales approach and proven business development skills to build relationships and negotiate agreements with senior executives across a diverse range of industries, Federal and State Government departments and private sector organisations.Key responsibilities includeSecuring new business and corporate accounts from company-generated leads and prospecting with a existing account management and new business focusBuilding new revenue from existing corporate & government accounts through account management plansDeveloping strong client relationships through consultative selling and providing solutions to their needsGenerating proposalsNegotiation successful TendersConducting on-site inspections, sales meetings and presentations working closely with clients to explore new event offeringsActively managing the sales pipelines to exceed revenue targets and KPIsMaximising conversion results from company generated leads To be successful in this role you will have:At least 3-5 years’ experience in B2B sales where you have focussed on new business development. We are open to industry background – but you love the hunt and the close.A track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.A consultative sales approach and proven negotiation skills - we are looking for someone who can deliver the win/win.Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills to connect with people at multiple levels.Effective organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.Excellent and effective communication and presentation skillsThe ability to positively contribute to your immediate team and the overall workplace cultureHigh energy – your success is our successA formal qualification in business, marketing or similar is desirable, but not essential.What’s on offerWhile our clients include large blue-chip companies, we’re a friendly bunch with a family vibe.
