Considered Melbourne's experts in big, bold Asian fusion flavours, guests love dining with us, repeatedly naming Red Spice Road as home to Melbourne's favourite pork belly.Here’s where you come in.We’re looking for a keen foodie with a proven restaurant, events or hospitality background, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences for diners that are second to none!  About the RoleAs Reservation Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all reservations, functions and general enquiries across the group. Reporting to the Customer Experience / Events Manager, this is an amazing opportunity to work collaboratively across the two venues and with a hardworking, fun team.     This will include:Looking after reservations, group bookings and private functions – from confirming telephone & online reservations to  developing proposals, liaising with clients to create tailored events with flair, and helping to ensure they’re well-executed on the day Offering a high level of service to customers in order to maintain customer retentionBeing familiar with our offerings and campaigns to act as a brand ambassador and promote the restaurants at all timesAchieve set targets and key performance indicators as part of a teamAssisting the Customer Experience / Events Manager and providing back-up support in their absence to keep things movingThis is a part-time role, 3 days a week (currently Monday and Friday 11am-7pm, Saturday 11am-3pm).You will have: Previous experience in a similar role in events, hospitality or in restaurant reservations is a mustAn understanding of event processes and resources – including proposals, contracts, budgets and resourcing Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a high-pressure team environment as well as on your own   Strong understanding and a passion for delivering high quality in-venue customer service experienceExcellent phone and email communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests from all walks of lifePositive attitude, impeccable presentation and professional work ethicInterested?We offer a fun and exciting team environment with great career development opportunities and excellent benefits.
