Community Manager & Event Floor Coordinator

Cliftons growth is accelerating and diversifying, and we are now seeking a dynamic and experienced customer service professional to join our vibrant Sydney team on a permanent full-time basis. About the roleAs the initial point of contact for our community members and guests, the Floor Coordinator and Community Manager is a key position that represents the face and brand of Cliftons. The position is responsible for providing a seamless experience to all guests, responding to inquiries efficiently and providing all client services in a friendly & courteous manner. The role requires an individual who is energetic, community focused, has a good knowledge of the local area and who is abreast of current social trends.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure your floor is in pristine condition prior to opening each day and is maintained throughout the day to company presentation standards.Meet & greet clients - ensuring they have everything they need for their event, and action any additional requests.Manage & develop a positive community environment within the venue and building.Actively create connections and engage members of the local community in new initiatives.Collaborate with Back of House, Technical, Central Bookings and Catering departments to exceed client expectations.Accurately and effectively use CRM to update event details, input client data and process invoices.Skills and ExperienceHospitality or Event qualification such as 5 star hotel experience preferred, marketing background an advantageKnowledge of hospitality, events and customer service essentialTeam work - motivating and inspiring those around youExperience in a fast-paced and multi-faceted environmentOutstanding customer service skillsExceptional interpersonal skills with impeccable presentationProactive, solution focused problem solvingCalm under pressure, and able to make intelligent and effective decisionsComputer literacy with strong written & verbal communication skillsYou will be joining a friendly and supportive team working corporate business hours (some weekend work may be necessary).If you feel you are the right person for this role, please apply online now with your resume and a cover letter.Only short-listed applicants will be contacted.  No Agencies Please.
