Considered Melbourne's experts in big, bold Asian fusion flavours, guests love dining with us repeatedly naming Red Spice Road as home to Melbourne's favourite pork belly.We’re now looking for an experienced Event Manager & Restaurant Host who loves to make our diners smile and deliver impeccable events to our clients.  You’ll be responsible for:   Looking after group bookings, functions and large-scale events - from developing proposals, liaising with clients to create tailored events with flair, and ensure they’re executed on the dayEstablish strong relationships and provide a high level of customer service with our VIP booked business and walk-in customers to ensure they have a memorable experienceWorking with all staff to create an inclusive, imaginative, inspiring environment where everyone works together to enhance the customer experience. Collaborating with senior management to continually refine our customer loyalty program and to implement best-in-industry standards in our venue.Researching markets to identify opportunities for eventsHosting guest arrivals into the restaurant and creating an impeccable first impressionSocial media posting across a number of platforms and managing online venue booking request portalsManagement of local marketing in conjunction with our head office teamAbout YouAt least three years relevant experience in a similar role in restaurants, hotels or private eventsProven marketing experience using social media platforms in a business environmentA hands-on hospitality professional with a great working knowledge of food & beverage serviceTech-savvy with reservations systems and online booking portalsExcellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests from all walks of lifeProven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a high-pressure team environment   Positive attitude, impeccable presentation and professional work ethicBe an excellent brand ambassador for the venueMust have ability to work permanently in AustraliaWe highly value our staff and offer a fun and exciting team environment with exceptional training and career development opportunities, a great salary and excellent benefits.  Interested?If this sounds like you, and you’re ready to jump into an incredible opportunity, send us your application with a brief letter describing yourself and anything else you think may give you an edge.
