Considered Melbourne's experts in big, bold Asian fusion flavours, guests love dining with us repeatedly naming Red Spice Road as home to Melbourne's favourite pork belly.We’re now looking for an experienced Bar & Beverage Manager who loves to make our diners smile and enjoys sharing their knowledge of wine & food pairing.You’ll be responsible for: Managing wine, beer and cocktail lists in conjunction with the Restaurant ManagerNegotiating supplier deals and COGSDaily hands-on management of the bar during serviceEducating and training floor staff on all beverage offerings and conducting beverage and food matching tastingsSupervision of beverage inventory, ordering and stock movementLiaising with customers to suggest suitable beverage matches to enhance their dining experienceEnsuring our policies and standards are adhered toAssisting with roster management and daily venue supervisionAbout YouAt least two years relevant experience in a similar role gained in a fast-paced, busy restaurantStrong working knowledge of food and beverage service, including beer reticulation systemsBe comfortable working in a hands-on supervisory role in a busy city restaurantExcellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests from all walks of lifeProven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a high-pressure team environment Positive attitude, impeccable presentation and professional work ethicHold a valid Victorian RSABe an excellent brand ambassador for the venueMust have the right to work permanently in Australia We highly value our staff and offer a fun and exciting team environment with exceptional training and career development opportunities, a great salary and excellent benefits.
