Account & Business Development Manager (Auckland or Wellington)

With the latest technologies, fast internet, incredible venue services and inspiring hospitality, we make seamless global event delivery effortless.The roleA fantastic opportunity has opened up for a self-driven B2B sales professional to join us in either Wellington or Auckland as we position ourselves for success in FY2022.As an Account & Business Development Manager, you will use your customer-centric and engaging sales approach to build relationships at various levels across leading corporates, education institutions and government departments. You will successfully negotiate short-term and long-term agreements with senior decision-makers and convert leads and uncovered opportunities into business.  Key responsibilities:Developing new business and existing accounts through proven prospecting strategiesBuilding new revenue from existing accountsExceeding revenue targets and operating to KPIsMaximising conversion results from company generated marketing leadsConducting venue tours, virtual presentations and working closely with clients to explore new event offerings for our NZ venues and across the Cliftons networkLive by our core values: Fun, Leadership, Integrity, Passion, Innovation, TeamworkTo be successful in this role you will have:2-5 years’ experience in B2B selling with a focus on end-to-end sales.  We’re open to industry but require an individual that loves the hunt and the close.Successful record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.A consultative sales approach and proven negotiation skills. We are looking for someone with commercial acumen who understands the value proposition to deliver the win/win.Digital tech savviness – experience in using CRMs, LinkedIn and social sellingExcellent relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills –to effectively connect with multiple levels – virtually and in person.A natural curiosity with an openness to learn and adapt– in a progressive, and ever-evolving environmentTime management and organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.Ability to positively contribute to your immediate team and our overall workplace cultureHigh energy, self-motivation and confidenceWhat’s on offerThis is an amazing opportunity to be part of our innovation story.
