Financial Accountant – Part-time

With the latest technologies, ultra-fast internet, incredible venue services and inspiring hospitality, we make seamless global event delivery effortless.The Role:A great opportunity has opened up for a high-calibre Financial Accountant to join our head office Finance team.  Reporting to the CFO, you will take the assist with the financial processes for our Australian, NZ, HK & Singapore operations, supporting key stakeholders with critical financial data and month-end reporting.This role is initially part-time, 3 days a week and will look to move to full-time in 2021.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing monthly fiscal close for the Australian entities, ensuring appropriate accruals are raised, journals recorded, and month end timelines are conformed withEnsuring the general ledgers are maintained and balance sheet reconciliations are prepared, and reconciled items are cleared promptlyAssist in ensuring the statutory and regulatory tax requirements are completed in a compliant and timely mannerReconciliation of Group Intercompany balances and timely recording of sales recharges across the GroupOngoing maintenance of fixed asset registers and ensure depreciation is recorded accuratelyPreparing daily bank reconciliation and debtor receiptingAssist with key year-end audit processesAssist in the preparation of quality monthly reporting to allow Cliftons Leadership team to understand monthly performance and monthly reportingAbout You:3-5 years previous financial or management accounting experience within a commercial organisation – Big 4 experience will be positively viewedDegree qualifications in Business, Commerce, AccountingCPA / CA qualifications (or nearing completion)Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and tax regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise at all levels up to Senior ManagementProven numerical problem solving and financial analytical skillsDemonstrated organisational ability to work within deadlinesCollaborative team playerIntegrity and confidentialityHighly motivated, energetic, flexible with a can-do attitudeWhat’s on offerYou’ll be exposed first hand to how a large privately-owned organisation operates and contribute to its success.  Teamwork is at the heart of our approach – and you can expect to work in a collaborative, fun environment where diversity is embraced.  We do this through our FLIPIT values – Fun, Leadership, Integrity, Passion, Innovation, Teamwork.Benefits of working here include work flexibility, an approachable & super-friendly management team, regular celebrations and company events, ongoing learning and the opportunity for career growth.Interested?
