Event Floor Coordinator

Providing more than 'just room hire', Cliftons helps event planners, project managers and industry professionals bring all the necessary elements together to deliver exceptional events. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced customer service professional to join our flagship Margaret St, Sydney CBD venue on a full-time basis. About the roleAs an Event Floor Coordinator, you’ll represent the face and the brand of Cliftons acting as the first point of contact for our valued clients holding business events and meetings on your floor.  Your impeccable service will continue throughout the day as you provide a seamless experience to all guests, responding to their enquiries efficiently and providing all client services in a friendly & courteous manner.This role requires someone who is energetic, focused, with a great eye for detail and who strives for excellent standards.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure the event rooms and client spaces on your floor is in pristine condition at the beginning of the day and throughout.Meet & greet clients – welcoming them on arrival, ensuring they have everything they need for their event, and actioning any additional requests.Collaborate with the Back of House, Technical, Central Bookings and Catering teams to fulfill our vision of delivering remarkable experiences for our clients.Administration tasks – such as printing and course materials, accurately and effectively using our CRM to update event details, input client data and process invoices.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a fast-paced and multi-faceted environment in hospitality (eg. a 5 star hotel), events or customer service is idealHospitality or Event qualification (preferred)Team work - motivating and inspiring those around youOutstanding customer service skillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills with impeccable presentationProactive, solution focused problem solvingCalm under pressure, and able to make sound and effective decisionsComputer literacy Why join us?
