We create remarkable experiences for our clients through advanced technology, outstanding service and a quality food and beverage experience.Cliftons is seeking dynamic and experienced hospitality stars to join our vibrant events delivery team on a casual basis.  With floor-to-ceiling windows on top of the city’s tallest building, our stunning Wellington venue offers customisable space for unique training, conference and dining events. We are entering a busy period in the lead-up to Christmas, so the ability to think on your feet and use your initiative in a fast-paced environment is a must.You will be the first point of contact with our valued clients, visitors and guests and your impeccable service will continue throughout the day.Your general responsibilities will include:Conducting daily meet and greet with course instructors and delegates, and assisting with administration requests including printing and course materialsMaintain the cleanliness of the event rooms and client spaces ensuring all areas are highly presentableAssist the food and beverage team as requiredBe available to work evenings for room set upsWe are looking for people with:plenty of energystrong attention to detailthe ability to work unsupervisedexcellent communication skillsLifting and carrying of furniture will be required so you must be physically fitSome experience in hospitality or customer service is idealThese are casual roles and so your hours are based on a roster that will vary from week to week.  Flexible availability is key as coverage for occasional weekend shifts may also be required.
